Finished in metallic gold complimented with contrasting black interior. This 1976 Stag has the desirable manual box and comes with a large history file extending back 30 years or more to show regular up keep. Most strikingly it was repainted in Topaz Gold about 15 years ago which really sets it apart from the herd. It also had an engine rebuild in 1993 and old MOTs show that it has only covered around 4,600 miles since. The last keeper acquired the car last May from a gentleman who had owned it for 26 years but had barely used it during that time. He immediately set about a programme of improvements which included a full interior re trim (including new seat foams and door cards) a new hood, reconditioned hood frame, new battery and four new tyres. The previous owner had already treated it to a new walnut effort dashboard and centre consul, new chrome and a stainless steel exhaust. In July this year the vendor also sent it to Warringtons of Warwick for a thorough going over to get it through the MOT and a full service which cost £1,553 (invoice on file) Supplied with a large history.
