Very Rare and highly sought after ESTOURA P6B 3500 V8 Coach-built Estate

We are pleased to offer this Very Rare 1969 Rover 3500 Estoura Estate Car . It is estimated that around 150/170 P6 Estouras were produced between 1968 and 1977, most being the 3500 model and it is suggested that only 30 of the latter survive. The Crayford design was executed by FLM Panelcraft of Battersea and resulted in a 65 x 47 inch load area, with the rear seat folded down. The chosen distributor for the Estoura was Hurst Park Automobiles, who are still very active in the classic and collectors car world today. The history file contains some period promotional material, which was kindly supplied by Hurst Park. This automatic transmission 3.5 V8 Estoura spent some time in a large private collection of Rover cars. During that time the car was the subject of considerable recommissioning works by well known Dutch company "Rondel Restauraties" with bills totalling Euro 5,000 (£4,500) in the history file, from 2022. Since repatriation to the U.K. in 2025, the car has benefited from considerable recommissioning works, which has included a rebuilt alternator, new fuel pump and lines, 8 new spark plugs, air and oil filters, full service, S.U. carburettor strip and clean, new battery, new brake lines, new brake master cylinder, new remote brake servo and relatively recent front discs and pads.
