Vehicle description

Finished in blue complimented with contrasting period interior well presented very usable with a nice crisp sounding engine A Large amount of work was carried out in 2017 receipts showing some of the work carried out over the years This 1976 MGB Roadster presented in classic blue with a black leatherette interior and matching black hood was first registered in April 1976 . performing as expected with smooth starting, stopping, and general road manners during photography and video capture. The car has been well maintained , a significant amount of documented expenditure, particularly in 2017 when it benefitted from extensive mechanical and structural work. This included a new full stainless steel exhaust system, replacement fuel tank and sender unit, SU electronic fuel pump, brake overhaul with new linings, cylinders, hoses, caliper kits and servo kit, along with a new clutch and battery.Cooling reliability was improved with a replacement radiator and hoses, while the running gear was refreshed with five new tyres, refurbished wheels, and a comprehensive renewal of suspension components including inner and outer sills, castle sections, front and rear skirt panels, inner wing braces, and all rubber bushes and mountings.Further improvements include some refreshed interior trim, LED reverse lamp inserts, new side and front window rubbers, halogen headlamps, a new ignition lock supplied with two sets of keys, and a new half tonneau cover. The engine has undergone a minor overhaul incorporating new bearings, oil pump, rocker shaft, water pump, and both front and rear crankshaft seals. The underside has been waxoyled and undersealed, contributing to its long-term preservation. The MG remains a strong driving example and performs well on the road a prior keeper has concentrated on the mechanical structural and driving experience leaving the quite presentable paintwork as it is honest but not a show winner this is a drivers car with rustic paintwork ,that is purely cosmetic and does not detract from its usability or driving enjoyment, but would significantly enhance the overall appearance and presentation.Extensively improved example of the ever-popular MGB Roadster, offering classic British open-top motoring with a strong history of maintenance and thoughtful mechanical investment.
