Rare and highly sought after Citroen 3.0 SM Auto Coupe - Extensive recent works

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a Citroen SM! This 1972 example is finished in Dark Moccha metallic with beautiful saddle leather interior with unique sculpted seats, front and rear and brown textured vinyl roof. Since importation in 2025 the motorcar has benefited from considerable mechanical works, including new hydropmeumatic accumulator, new fuel pump + filter, attention to the braking system, automatic transmission service, full engine service, including new plugs, oil and filter, new twin coils and new carburettor throttle pump diaphragms for the Webbers. It is also equipped with a recent stainless steel exhaust system and new tyres. The car shows some light patina, with minor cosmetic imperfections, which does not detract from the its presence. Very rare in automatic form, the car is equipped with working air con, cruise control and power windows. The accompanying history file includes manuals, receipts and club correspondence. The underside of the motorcar is in excellent shape, as can be seen from the variety of images. The Citroen SM coupe was renowned for its distinctive styling and its adoption of the legendary advanced engineering, particularly the hydropneumatic suspension system and positive, self-centering steering, requiring just two turns of the steering wheel from lock to lock.
