This little 1951 MG TD was lightly restored in 2016 - 2018 and retains all her character. Would make an excellent trails or competition car and has scope for improvements. She has been fitted with a 1600 MG A engine and drive train which gives this little car 80 BHP, put that against a TD engine of 55 BHP and that is quite a jump. She comes with a good number of invoices since she has come home and you will find one for mechanical recommissioning at a cost of £2,294 there are service bills for the rebuild of the 4 speed gearbox and a full rebuild of the twin 1 1/2 H4 SU Carbs. The hood was replaced with full side screens at around the same time and is in excellent condition (perfect for the Great British weather). The MG also has rear-mounted twin spare wheels. She was imported from the USA and registered 01 07 16. She is left hand drive and manufactured in 1951. Although there is no history before this time over the past 5 years several thousand of pounds have been spent along with a hand written note book of additional expenditure.
