This very attractive S3 V12 E-type 2+2 is offered on behalf of a client due to ill health. Imported by our client earlier this year, the car has since benefited from considerable recommissioning works. These have included stripping, cleaning, rebuilding and refitting the four Stromberg carburettors, fitting a new SU, double ended fuel pump, new coil, 12 new NGK BP6ES spark plugs, new high performance, 8mm HT leads, new battery, new fuel filter, draining, and flushing the fuel tank, fitting new chrome locking fuel cap, new rear bonnet seal, new rear hatch seal and new drivers seat foam base and diaphragm. After some time in storage, in California, the car is now a running example showing excellent oil pressure and sounding very sweet. The car has been upgraded to a more modern and efficient Electronic ignition amplifier from the Crane Fireball range. It is also equipped with new ignition barrel, steering lock and keys. Finished in Signal Red with excellent black leather interior and sitting on excellent, 15 inch chrome wire wheels, this is real eyeful of a car, which does not require much more work to get it back on the road. It is offered with JDHT Heritage certificate, a comprehensive history file and is now UK registered with a V5C.
